From now on, on all of Olliges/James/Yames’ projects where his hair length reaches between his shoulder and the bottom lobe of his right ear, he will be officially credited as #?^ In a statement, Yames explained that “#?^ feels just right to me—You are where you’re at and I am here. Yim Yames is just so stiff and formal. It lacked whimsy.” The Yim Yames moniker will still be utilized for corporate gigs and when Olliges flies business class. Meanwhile, #?^ plans to tour with members of NIN, GnR and others as part of a new super group the Arena-Size Acronyms.

On July 17th My Morning Jacket will play at Somerset House, with support from The Head and The Heart, and you can still get tickets! Just follow the link!
“Over the course of July, eMusic is running an artist-fan interview program through their Twitter feed with My Morning Jacket, Army Navy, and Thao & Mirah. My Morning Jacket kick things off this week and will be answering questions this Friday, July 8 starting at noon EST. The thing is, they will be answering those questions through a chat with eMusic’s Twitter account. So if you want to ask the guys something, you will have to tweet at eMusic with the “#eMusicMMJ” hashtag through this evening. Then, on Friday, you just might see Jim James and company answering whatever you have in store for ‘em. You know, as long as it’s not too weird.”
My Morning Jacket will be performing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight, June 7th. Check your local listings for the channel and be sure to tune in at 12:35am/11:35C.
